My Therapy Approach

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy is a process by which you examine your thoughts, feelings, actions and relationships.

Couples/Marital Therapy

Couples therapy focuses on the problems existing in the relationship between two people.

Group Therapy

In group therapy, you learn that you are not alone. You can experiment with trying to relate to people differently in a safe environment, with a therapist present to assist as needed.

Welcome

imageWelcome. If you’ve made your way to this page, you are probably having a difficult time at this point in your life. You may be experiencing some very upsetting thoughts or feelings that you may not understand or don’t really seem to go away. Maybe you are feeling confused about the reasons you keep repeating the same mistakes or your life circumstances appear to be spinning out of control.

We all face problems at different points in our lives, and there are times when handling it alone just is not enough. These problems can cause us to feel sad or uneasy. During these times, even talking to friends, family and clergy members may not help.

Your path towards a healthier, happier life can start here. I believe you have within you what you need to make great change in your life. My training and experience have helped me to become a skilled expert at helping people find their way through life’s difficulties. My job is to work as a guide to help you remove obstacles that are keeping you from living a happy, comfortable life. I firmly believe that improving the quality of life is an important and worthwhile venture.

I realize that the thought of therapy may seem like the last thing you would have ever considered, especially if you have never met with a therapist before. However, know that therapy can be very beneficial when you are having a tough time managing certain aspects of your life. It works best when you find the right partnership with the right therapist at the right time.

If you are ready to work on feeling better and you would like my help, please call or e-mail me to set up an appointment. Having an in-person consultation is a great way to figure out if we can form the right partnership. Remember, pain is unavoidable, but suffering is optional.
